What is it?

MONDAECUS is an open digital platform designed to facilitate collaborative academic translation and the contextualisation of scholarly texts within multilingual teams.

  • Key features: A collaborative document editor, an integrated AI Helper, and specific roles for reviewers and commentators.

What can I do with it?

  • Work together in real-time: Use the shared editor to translate articles or book chapters with your international peers.
  • Keep the “human” in the loop: Use the AI Helper to speed things up, then refine the text to ensure it’s scientifically accurate.
  • Host epistemological discussions: Use the platform’s commenting features to debate and assess content across linguistic barriers.
  • Offer multiple translations: You can host several different translations of the same original document to see how different languages interpret the work.

Good to know
