OIPA Symposium 2026

OIPA Symposium 2026: Sussex University Campus, Thursday 18th June

The Open Institutional Publishing Association Symposium 2026 is open for registration! Primarily an in-person event, a live stream of the two panel sessions and lightning talks will also be available. The Symposium is free to attend and open to all (members and non-members). For those attending in person lunch will be provided and parking is also available.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Professor Caroline Edwards, Executive Director, Open Library of Humanities and Open Journals Collective

  • Sarah Kember, Professor of New Technologies of Communication, Goldsmiths, University of London and Director, Goldsmiths Press

  • Charles Watkinson, Associate University Librarian, University of Michigan Library and Director of University of Michigan Press
