Organised by the EDCH Tools & Technologies Task Force, this webinar will introduce and explore web accessibility and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), looking at:
- Why web accessibility matters
- The key principles behind WCAG
- Common accessibility issues through practical examples
- Lessons from ICM University of Warsaw’s experience developing accessible applications
The session will also contribute to the work of the EDCH by sharing ICM’s experience, practices and lessons learned in accessibility, giving the Diamond OA community useful insights on how accessibility can be approached in tools, services and documentation.
