The Diamond OA Policy Forum Europe is an online place where policymakers, funders and other open access experts meet to share, discuss and develop policy and funding mechanisms for Diamond Open Access to support more equitable, diverse, and community-led scholarly publishing internationally.
This stems from the ALMASI Project: which brings national, regional and institutional policymakers together from 3 regions: Africa, Latin America and Europe.
The first meeting of the Diamond Open Access Policy Forum Europe will focus on policymaking for Diamond OA in this region, showcasing one national policy and one institutional policy before breaking out into groups for more discussion on policymaking processes and challenges.
The meeting will be held in English.
