The PUB IN Tech Clinics are support sessions in webinar format, designed as discussion forums and spaces for technical clarification.
These sessions are an initiative of the PUB IN Working Group on “Tools, Technologies, Infrastructures, and Editorial and Publishing Management Software” to present problems and solutions to the community.
These online sessions stem from real challenges in daily editorial work and create a space for shared reflection, where possible solutions are explored collaboratively and with a practical focus.

This session will focus on the essential aspects of cybersecurity adapted to digital journal platforms, particularly Open Journal Systems (OJS), as it is the most widely used platform in Portugal. It will identify best practices for digital security, including how to manage and remain resilient to risks, what security measures to implement, and the main vulnerabilities identified in information management systems.
