# Towards new Horizons of Scholarly Publishing (recordings available)

The conference _Towards new Horizons of Scholarly Publishing_ will take place on 5–6 February 2026 in Nijmegen (Netherlands).

The event will focus on **Diamond Open Access** , a publishing model in which neither authors nor readers pay fees. The programme will include sessions on national and European Diamond OA infrastructures, challenges in transitioning to different publishing models, and practical aspects of creating or converting journals to Diamond OA.

The conference also aims to bring together researchers and existing initiatives and to support the formation of a national group interested in Diamond Open Access.
