The **Belgian Open Access Networking Event 2026** is happening on **Tuesday, June 2, in Brussels**. It will focus on:

- **Open Access Diamond initiatives in Belgium – Focus on practical experience**
- **AI scraping and Open Access – raising technical, legal and ethical concerns**

This live event is open to anyone interested in Open Access and its ramifications (research support staff, librarians, researchers… ). Lunch and coffee breaks are included.

**Free participation, mandatory registration.**

**Jonathan Dumont** – University of Liège, project manager of Circular Materials and Chemistry and the Belgian Royal Foundation for Diamond Open Access.
